Rainy Day Playlist

11/4/2020

As the weather gets colder and I’m rolling out my sweaters, I’m beginning to transition from the new artists I discovered in the summer back into last year’s music. Personally, I find that these songs serve as a calming break from the chaos of our current social and political climate. If I could classify them in one way it would be as the comforting feeling I get when I’m warm inside on a rainy day. I hope that in one way or another, they can convey the same comfort to you. The playlist can be found here.

James Madison

Personal opinion based ranking (1 meaning burn the man, 5 being complete indifference, 10 being still awful but could be a lot worse):

5. I don’t particularly like Madison, and I honestly couldn’t be bothered with him. He was historically uninteresting and the things that are somewhat interesting aren’t generally good. He viewed other races as lesser and therefore was one of the reasons white people were the only ones given rights in the original constitution. I don’t know about you, but that’s a deal breaker for me, . He was close friends with Thomas Jefferson too, so that doesn’t help his case.
