As the weather gets colder and I’m rolling out my sweaters, I’m beginning to transition from the new artists I discovered in the summer back into last year’s music. Personally, I find that these songs serve as a calming break from the chaos of our current social and political climate. If I could classify them in one way it would be as the comforting feeling I get when I’m warm inside on a rainy day. I hope that in one way or another, they can convey the same comfort to you. The playlist can be found here.
I’m sure soon enough it will have changed from rain to snow, but I hope this playlist continues to have the same calming effect. To rephrase: whether you’re driving around or sitting inside with hot chocolate and a book, these songs are here to help create a cozy atmosphere when the sun is hidden behind the clouds.
