1. …how…do…I…date? on campus?
Remember that this is a small campus. Anyone you “date” will likely be around you for the foreseeable future, so choose wisely.
Instead of actively searching for a partner, get to know people as friends. You may find that someone you thought was hot at the beginning of the term is actually a huge jackass. Get to know other students in your elective classes. Join a club (put on a speed dating event!). But try not to feel pressured to date just because it seems like everyone else is dating. Spoiler alert: they're not.
If sparks do fly with someone, invite them to do homework with you, go to the KAC, or hang out in the lounge. While in the midst of young love, you may want to spend all your time with that person, but don't isolate yourself. Make sure you balance time with them and friends and schoolwork (because remember, that's why you’re here and not on Love Island).
Oftentimes, the right person comes along into your life when you least expect it (take it from someone who met their husband senior year at SRC). But in the end, you'll be more grateful for the friends you've made while in college than the dates you've had, so don't take for granted those relationships.
