Barrington Brewery Review

Located on the edge of town is a hidden gem among restaurants in Great Barrington, MA. While not entirely obvious and flashy to those new or just passing by, many of the locals and college students who inhabit this town are quite familiar with the establishment known as the Barrington Brewery.

In my opinion, the interior is beautiful, as it’s made of polished logs and looks like it’s straight out of the 1800s. Their menus are pretty heckin’ neat too, especially because they have a detailed explanation of the process of how they brew their own beer.

Now, if you are a fan of pubs, pub food, or the atmosphere that comes with pubs and pub food, the Barrington Brewery is the place for you. The Brewery serves a variety of traditional dishes (my favorite being their chicken pot pie), and they are well-known for their chili, a dish which is best eaten when it’s, ya know, chilly outside.

Price-wise, it’s really not that expensive, especially when compared to other restaurants in town, so if you and your pals are looking for a good place to eat on a budget and don’t mind a short walk from Price Chopper, it’s perfect for you!

On top of all of this, it’s staffed by excellent people. I have received outstanding service each time I’ve attended. From friendly staff to short wait times, it’s all around excellent.

The Brewery seems to have something for everyone, even if you bring that friend that only eats chicken strips and fries (which happen to be delicious). With dishes ranging from seafood to salads to traditional home cooked meals, it’s a nice place to just have a nice afternoon with your friends at a great price.
